Tissue Pathology

Formalin fixed tissue specimens have been largely inaccessible to multiplexed RNA analysis, due to the degradation and modifications associated with formalin fixation and paraffin embedding (FFPE). Ligation In Situ Hybridization (LISH), a PROXAL™ chemistry, followed by sequencing, overcomes the barrier to simultaneously measuring hundreds to thousands of RNAs in small regions of interest from a single FFPE section.
